Part-time courses

How to apply for part-time courses

Step 1: Choose the course

Choose the course you want. All courses in the prospectus will have a course code, a contact name and number linked to each course. If you have an enquiry about the detail of a course, please contact the course tutor who will be able to help you. Part-time courses have a 'P', 'S' or 'C' as the second letter of course code.

For a quick response from our Admissions team, email enquiry@abingdon-witney.ac.uk. You can also contact us by telephone on 01235 555 585 or 01993 703 464, but please be aware that our phone lines are very busy during peak enrolment times.

Step 2: Application

Download and print the application form:

Part-time form 2011/12 (pdf)

Complete the form and send it to:
Admissions
Abingdon and Witney College,
FREEPOST,
Abingdon, OX14 1BR
or hand it into the reception at any campus.

If you prefer, you can ask for a hard copy of the form by emailing enquiry@abingdon-witney.ac.uk or phoning Admissions on 01235 555 585 (Abingdon campus)

or 01993 703 464 (Witney campus).

It is a requirement of our funding bodies that every student completes an enrolment form. By signing the enrolment form you are agreeing that the College can process your personal information. Without a signature we are unable to process your enrolment and therefore unable to offer you a place on the course. All personal information is confidential and Abingdon and Witney College is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.

Step 3: Calculate the fee

Course fees are shown in the part-time prospectus. You may be eligible for a fee reduction in some circumstances – read more about fees.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or debit card. Cheques should be made payable to Abingdon and Witney College. If you wish your employer to be invoiced you must attach a confirmation letter from your employer to the enrolment form.

If you intend to pay by cash, or claim a fee reduction, you must enrol in person.

Step 4: Submit your application and payment

You can send the form to:
The Hub Office
Abingdon and Witney College,
FREEPOST (OF1653)
Abingdon, OX14 1BR
or
The Hub Office,
Abingdon and Witney College,
FREEPOST (SCE 13942),
Witney, OX28 6BR

Please note that the Freepost addresses are equivalent to a second class postal service.

Or you can enrol in person at either campus:
Abingdon campus: Wootton Road, Abingdon OX14 1GG
Witney campus: Holloway Road, Witney  OX28 6NE

Your place on the course will not be confirmed until payment is received.

Once we have processed your enrolment form and taken your payment, we will send you a confirmation slip which includes the basic details of your course and where to attend. Please keep this confirmation in a safe place as it is your proof that you are an enrolled student.
